Background

Mike brings to Cenamps considerable experience in managing high technology businesses and undertaking technology exploitation. He has a strong technical background and has specialised in nano and micro technologies for over ten years.

Mike is involved in numerous UK and international committees and working groups related to nano and micro technologies, and currently is the Chair of the Nanotechnologies Industry Association.

Professional Institution Membership

Mike is a Chartered Engineer; Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College London and Surrey University on Nanotechnology MSc courses.

Significant Employment History

He was a founding director of QinetiQ Nanomaterials Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of QinetiQ Group, which was established in October 2001, where he was Commercial Director.

As a seasoned presenter / speaker at international and UK conferences, he has a wide-reaching network of contacts across the nano and micro technology fields.
