Nanogate Expands Product Range in Austria

Nanogate (ISIN DE000A0JKHC9), a leading international nanotechnology enabler, is strengthening its market position in Austria.

Following its successful market entry last year, the Group is now expanding its product range at REWE International AG, Austria: from now on the supermarket chain MERKUR will be selling care products from the Nanogate brand feldten. Nanogate expects to record significant six-digit sales figures in the medium term.

The new product line includes top-quality shoe-care products that are highly dirt and water-repellent and ensure that leather and functional textiles remain breathable. Following the listing in the MERKUR supermarkets, which are found in all of Austria´s urban areas, there are medium-term plans to sell the product line at REWE Austria´s other retail chains too. Several textile-care products from the feldten brand have been available in Austria at the supermarket and chemist chains Billa, BIPA, MERKUR and Sutterlüty since spring 2009.

Ralf Zastrau, CEO of Nanogate AG, commented: "International business is a key growth driver for the feldten brand. The new order from REWE Austria is also proof of the effectiveness of our products. We expect to open up additional sales channels and sales potential in the short and medium term."
