Tessera Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:TSRA) today confirmed its commitment to the Korean market with the opening of a new office in Seoul.
The office will support Tessera’s regional activities with OEMs and industry partners in the growing cell phone market.
“The Republic of Korea is experiencing solid growth in the mobile device market,” said Woong Lee, director of Business Development and Marketing, Tessera Korea, Ltd. “We have several important customers and partners in this country, where we plan to play a leading role over the next few years.”
In addition, Tessera is holding its first Tessera Technology Symposium in Seoul. The Symposium is focusing on the theme, “Transforming Consumer Electronics with HD Video,” and features a keynote presentation from Tae Chan Kim, Master, Samsung LSI. Presentations at the event include:
