Cell-Pore Ceramics for Filtration Applications Available from NanoDynamics

NanoDynamics subsidiary MetaMateria Partners (MMP) offers Cell-Pore ceramics technology for use in a wide array of filtration applications.

Comprised of a variety of fine-grained materials, these lightweight and porous ceramics provide a significant surface area for either biofilm colonization or the deposit of nanoparticles, nanofibers or nanocrystals to remove or neutralize specific contaminants in water and soil.

Cell-Pore ceramics technology can be molded into simple or complex shapes, and allows for pore size control from sub-micron to 250 microns or larger without the use of firing. With an average porosity of 85 percent, it facilitates minimally obstructed flow of the passing material. Surface area, density and strength characteristics can also be tailored to meet specific application requirements.
