SUSS MicroTec Lithography GmbH, a leading manufacturer and supplier of production and process lithography systems now holds the globally recognized ISO 9001 certification for having established a high level process- and system-oriented quality management (QM) based on ISO9001 quality standards. The certificate is evidence of SUSS MicroTec Lithography’s commitment to provide consistent high-quality development, production and service processes at both German manufacturing sites in Garching (near Munich) and Vaihingen/Enz (near Stuttgart).

Ralf Süss, the two general managers of SUSS MicroTec Lithography GmbH at the certification ceremony. „The ISO 9001 certification is the evidence that we have documented quality procedures and systems in place that meet global standards and expectations. It also assures that we will effectively work toward continuous improvements for our customers and our employees with respect to product functionality, service performance, process efficiency, safety and ecology.”
SUSS MicroTec has received the ISO 9001 certification from TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH, a TÜV SÜD AG company, that audited all quality related processes with respect to customer satisfaction, monitoring processes to ensure quality, keeping proper records, performing product verification and regularly reviewing processes for effectiveness.
The ISO 9001 certified quality management system will be monitored once a year by surveillance audits. The next full QM system review will take place in three years with re-certification audits.
