Japanese Nanotechnology Researchers Create World's Smallest Noodle Bowl

Yomuiri is reporting that Japanese nanotechnology researchers have created the world's smallest noodle bowl.

Using carbon nanotube fabrication technology for manufacturing advanced circuitry, University of Tokyo professor Masayuki Nakao, created a 1 micron wide bowl filled with 20 nanometer thick noodles. The bowl was carved from silicon using a metal particle beam and the noodle soup made from ethanol and a catalyst.
