Micromem Successfully Demonstrates UAV Installation of Mounting System for Power Line Condition Monitoring Sensor Suite

Micromem Technologies Inc. ("Micromem") ("the Company") through its wholly owned subsidiary, Micromem Applied Sensor Technologies Inc. (MAST), is pleased to announce that it has successfully demonstrated the installation of the mounting system that will be used to house its patent pending Power Line Condition Monitoring sensor suite using an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).

New Cubic Nanoantennas Hold Potential to Revolutionize Nano-Electromechanical Systems

Newly developed tiny antennas, likened to spotlights on the nanoscale, offer the potential to measure food safety, identify pollutants in the air and even quickly diagnose and treat cancer, according to the Australian scientists who created them. The new antennas are cubic in shape. They do a better job than previous spherical ones at directing an ultra-narrow beam of light where it is needed, with little or no loss due to heating and scattering, they say.
