Farfield Releases Latest Version of Dual Polarisation Interferometer Instrumentation

Farfield have released their latest version of their proprietary Dual Polarisation Interferometer instrumentation aimed specifically at the label free protein characterisation market for Conformation Activity Relationship (CAR) studies. The AnaLight® 4D “Workstation” has enhanced fluidic performance to enable both kinetic and affinity measurements of protein interactions. In addition, and simultaneously, the conformation and kinetics of conformational change during biochemical interactions can be obtained and compared to the functional assay to reveal a level of mechanistic detail not previously possible.

The Workstation also has an extended temperature range allowing the study of protein melt and stability and also derivation of the thermodynamics of binding and conformational change. A comprehensive perspective of biochemistry from a single analytical instrument –bridging the application gap.
