Lumenera is involved in development and manufacture of high-efficiency digital cameras and solutions for customized imaging for surveillance, industrial and scientific business. Lumenera had announced that the company will introduce the INFINITYHD color camera with 2 MP for microscopes.
The camera includes a CMOS sensor of 1/3 in. with increased resolution and an HDMI connector. The camera performs self working, since it does not require the use of a computer and produces streamline video output across the HDMI connector.
As the INFINITYHD color camera shows superior reproduction of color, it can be used in color-sensitive microscopy technology such as industrial, bright field and clinical microscopy. A real 1080p60 full color streaming video output is produced by the INFINITYHD camera. An in-built auto-intensity compensation is installed within the camera. This ensures automatic adjustment of the video stream as the light intensity or microscope objective varies. The preview of the real-time output ensures placement of specimen for fast review of slides and accurate focus.
The optimization of auto white balance and capturing of images in less time can be achieved by connecting a USB 2.0 port between the camera and a laptop or computer. The digital interface of the USB 2.0 is of plug-and-play installation type and is integrated with a reliable set of USB camera drivers for long-lasting and consistent operations without any down time.
