Applied NanoFluorescence launches the NS MiniTracer:

Affordable and rapid trace detection of single-walled carbon nanotubes

With more than ten years of experience building sophisticated spectrometric systems for carbon nanotube characterization, Applied NanoFluorescence, LLC is releasing its latest product, the NS MiniTracer.

This very compact, affordable, and user-friendly fluorometer is optimized for sensitive quantitation of single-walled carbon nanotubes through their short-wave infrared emission. Ideal for environmental and biomedical researchers needing rapid trace detection, the NS MiniTracer fills a gap in the scientific instrumentation market.

Apart from its unsurpassed capability for single-walled carbon nanotube detection and quantification, the NS MiniTracer is also ideal for studying quantum dots that emit at short-wave infrared wavelengths, a rapidly developing area of research.

There is currently no other commercial instrument that can detect nanotubes as easily and at such low concentrations for this price. We’re able to provide this value by leveraging our design expertise to make a streamlined, dedicated system for detecting nanoparticles that emit in the near-infrared.
