NanoCyl to Distribute Carbon Nanotube Products in Europe through Velox

Carbon Nanotubes Leader Nanocyl and specialised raw materials distribution & sales company Velox have signed an agreement for the distribution of Nanocyl’s carbon nanotubes-based products in Europe. This partnership has started in the beginning of this year and covers Nanocyl’s industrial grade multi-wall carbon nanotubes powder and thermoplastic concentrates.

Objectives of the agreement
The collaboration between Velox and Nanocyl is aimed at a significant increase of the presence and penetration of Nanocyl’s Carbon Nanotubes on the European market within the segments of plastics, rubber, paints and coatings.

With this agreement, covering the distribution of Nanocyl’s industrial grade multi-wall carbon nanotubes NC7000 and thermoplastic concentrates PlastiCyl in the whole of Europe (but UK for coatings and thermoset composites) and Turkey, Nanocyl will benefit from an even broader and deeper European coverage.

PlastiCylTM concentrates are available for a wide variety of thermoplastics carriers. Some pre-dispersed carbon nanotubes-based solutions are also available.

Olivier Decroly, Global Business Development Manager at Nanocyl: “At this exciting and accelerating times in the commercial development of Nanocyl, Velox is another essential element for promoting and distributing our well-appreciated range of products; Velox has been and is a leading company for the distribution of specialty raw materials and therefore we believe that the role of Velox will be crucial in the expansion of our market presence in Europe.”

Carbon nanotubes – raw materials with unique properties
Nanocyl products are mainly used as conductive additives in polymers for applications such as anti-static plastics for automotive fuel systems and electronics parts manufacturing. Other applications include conductive plastics for electrostatic painting, transparent antistatic coatings, reinforcement of technical rubbers and carbon fibre thermoset composites.
Nanocyl products are available in the form of powders, pellets, liquid dispersions and films.
