Dual-headed Voice Coil Positioning System by H2W Technologies

H2W's dual headed voice coil positioning Stage (VCS15-050-LB-01-MC-2) is a high precision two axis positioning system for high end motion control applications. 

Each head that rides on a common linear rail is driven by an NCC moving coil type linear actuator, and is guided by two recirculating linear bearings riding on a common linear bearing rail. Each voice coil has a 1.5" [38.1 mm] stroke, generates 8.4 lbs [37.4 N] of continuous force and 25.2 lbs [112 N] of peak force.

The stage is supplied with two non-contact 1 micron resolution digital output linear encoders for position feedback.  Each head can be independently controlled using an H2W supplied two axis programmable motion control system.
