Cymbet Honored with Sensors’ "Best of Sensors Expo 2009" Bronze Award

Cymbet Corporation, a leader in thin-film, solid-state battery technology, today announced that it has been honored with a Sensors' "Best of Sensors Expo 2009" bronze award. Cymbet won this award for its EnerChip™ EH CBC5300 energy harvesting module which is a key enabler for autonomous wireless sensor networks.

The Sensors "Best of Sensors Expo" awards honor the most exciting new products that were on display at the Sensors Expo & Conference, which took place June 8-9, 2009, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. All entries were judged on the basis of potential impact, application, distinctiveness, timeliness and availability.

The Cymbet EnerChip EH CBC5300 module is an advanced micro energy harvesting solution that efficiently captures energy from photovoltaic cells and other energy harvesting transducers, stores the energy and manages power distribution to the rest of the device.
