Ecliptek Introduces Two New MEMS HCSL Oscillator Series for Low Jitter Reference Clock Applications

Ecliptek Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of two new high frequency High Speed Current Steering Logic (HCSL) six pad surface mount low profile 5.0mm x 7.0mm MEMS oscillators (MO). These new series enhance Ecliptek's extensive offering of MEMS frequency control products.

The new HCSL output EMSL12 (2.5VDC) and EMSL13 (3.3VDC) are available in a variety of configurations including frequency stabilities as low as ±20ppm maximum and operating temperature ranges as wide as -40°C to +85°C. Other features include frequencies up to 220MHz, output enable or stand-by (high impedance) control, complementary outputs, low rms phase jitter, and duty cycle of 50 ±5(%).

"The EMSL12 and EMSL13 product series provide a differential clocking solution for Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) applications," said Thomas Culhane, Vice President of Engineering of Ecliptek Corporation. “These product offerings were designed to meet and exceed the low jitter reference clock requirements of PCIe.“

These Ecliptek MEMS oscillator series provide low jitter differential clocking solutions for Fiber Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, FBDIMM, SATA/SAS, PCIe and other networking applications at a competitive price with minimal lead times.
