Nexus Nano Electronics to Provide Circuit Board Assemblies for Cutting Edge Sports & Fitness Equipment

Nexus Nano Electronics has announced they have been selected by Vasa Inc, of Essex Junction, Vermont, to provide circuit board assemblies for their products. Vasa is a designer and manufacturer of premium quality athletic training tools. The Vasa Ergometer is a versatile machine designed to improve endurance, power, strength and speed for swimming, surfing, kayak and canoe paddling, Nordic ski poling, wheelchair racing, and cross training. It’s also ideal for physical therapy, disability and cardiac rehabilitation programs.

Since its introduction in 1989, Vasa products have become the training tool of choice for thousands of swim coaches and swimmers worldwide. An example of Vasa's popularity among swim coaches is the fact that over 75% of the swimmers representing the U.S. at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and 2000 Sydney Olympics trained on Vasa Trainers leading up to the games. Over the years, the U.S. swimming coaches have requested Vasa equipment be available for their swimmers to use during several World Championships and three Olympic games.

Vasa, Inc. is another example of the Nexus strategy of reducing customer and market concentrations to level out the impact of possible cycles in any market segment. Shipments will start during the month of June.

Mel Roseman, Chief Operating Officer of Nexus Nano Electronics, said, “Again, we feel that our partnership with Vasa is and will be successful because we listen to what customers are asking us to do and understanding where other suppliers make mistakes.” The “voice of the customer” is critical to our aggressive growth plan.
