Nanocomp Expounds Production Capacity to Meet Demand for Carbon Nanotube Products

Nanocomp Technologies, a manufacturer of carbon nanotube-based component products and performance materials, has opened its new headquarters in Merrimack, New Hampshire, marking the conclusion of the first phase of a proposed expansion of 100,000 sq. ft, based in part on funding from the Defense Production Act Title III.

Itochu Plastics to Distribute SouthWest NanoTechnologies’ Carbon Nanotube Products in Asia

A subsidiary of the Itochu Group, Itochu Plastics has inked a distribution deal with SouthWest NanoTechnologies to supply its commercially-produced specialty single-wall and multi-wall carbon nanotubes and carbon nanotube dispersions, pastes and inks across Asia.

Veeco’s TurboDisc K465i MOCVD Selected by AZZURRO Semiconductors for GaN-on-Si Wafer Production

Veeco Instruments, a process equipment solution provider for the production of wireless chips, MEMS, hard drives, power electronics, LEDs, and optoelectronics, has reported that its TurboDisc K465i gallium nitride (GaN) metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) system has been placed into production by AZZURRO Semiconductors, a German company specializing in gallium nitride on silicon (GaN-on-Si) technology.
