NanoMaterials Technology Gets Special Award for Excellence In Technology and Product Innovation

NanoMaterials Technology Private Limited ("NMT") wins Special Award in the 12th Japan International Nano Exhibition & New Technology Exhibition & Conference from 30th January to 1st February 2013. The three-day exhibition was held in Tokyo Big Sight, Japan. The event had garnered about 600 exhibitors and approximately 47,000 visitors, both locally and globally.

NMT was recognized for its excellence in technology and product innovation. The selection committee commented that NMT has established an unique and independent technology capable of manufacturing nanoparticles, with a tiny particle size making them extremely dispersible in liquids, as well as the potential that this technology opens up for applications across a broad range of fields, such as diesel fuel, cosmetics, automotive & wood coatings, solar control film/coating, petrochemicals, CMP, plastics & polymer and medical etc.

At the Exhibition, NMT has showcased its products and services which utilize the proprietary High Gravity Controlled Precipitation (HGCP) and dispersion technologies. Taking centre stage was NMT's latest nano-product range, Nano-D Series – a series of nano-sized metal oxide dispersion in a wide range of dispersing media, was well-received and appreciated during the event. These commercial Nano-D Series products are highly transparent and have excellent dispersibility even at high solid loading which gives unique properties such as UV light absorbing, IR light reflecting, anti-abrasion, photo-catalytic, oxygen-storing, abrasive etc. It has generated interests and enquiry pertaining to their performance enhancement to various applications from visitors.

NMT has also put on display formulated products such as glass coating and solar control film using its Nano-D Series such as Antimony Tin Oxide and Zinc Oxide. It has also attracted a lot of interests from the media and public alike during the event.

Some international visitors from pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals companies were highly interested in exploring the use of HGCP Technology to produce their products into nano size, via contract research collaboration. Through science and innovation, NMT seeks to support their customers from all industries to meet the current and future commercial needs. NMT will continue to expand and showcase its product portfolio, R&D services and total solutions designed in promoting environment and energy conservation as well as improvement to the quality of life.
