Vectron Introduces New Series of MEMS-Based Clocks

Vectron has launched a new series of advanced MEMS-based oscillators. The innovative product series VM 702, 802, and 822 feature output options such as HCSL, LVDS, and LVPECL and a 460 MHz frequency range.

The Director of Vectron MEMS clock products, Mario Saucedo, stated that their innovative MEMS clocks expands the company’s product line of ultra-low jitter oscillators enabling designers to make flexible designs as required by the market. The MEMS clock family offers excellent jitter performance and frequency stability.

Mario added that these innovative products enhance the jitter performance of previous MEMS products by a factor of 2. It also delivers crucial features including good noise immunity of power supply and HCSL, PECL, and LVDS outputs.

The VM 822, 702, and 802 compensation algorithm improves the performance of frequency vs. temperature, which in turn delivers an improvement in temperature stability when compared to previous models. The market requires adaptability of the supply chain and programmability of MEMS clocks, which lowers lead time and increases liability to clients. Vectron also delivers new clock path technology such as high-stability OCXOs, double ovens, and crystal oscillators to clients.
