Cantiliver Tip used to Map Magnetic Regions of Garnet Film.

The cantilever tip is coated with a magnetic strip and is being used to locate the the magnetic region of the garnet film. The IR laser of the AIST-NT AFM system has a 1300 nm wavelength, which allows the user to clearly focus on the sample being scanned. However, the selective cantilever tip is not suitable to use for measuring the MFM of similar magnetic samples.
