Imec Establishes Metrology Method for Optimizing Etch Rate Uniformity in Transformer Coupled Plasma Reactor

Imec and KLA Tencor have established a metrology method for optimizing the etch rate uniformity (ERU) in a transformer coupled plasma (TCP) reactor. The proposed metrology method makes use of PVx2 sensor wafers.

Lux Research Offers New Report Titled 'Ranking the Nations on Nanotech'

In terms of sheer volume, The U.S. dominated the rest of the world in nanotech funding and new patents last year, as U.S. government funding, corporate spending, and VC investment in nanotech collectively reached $6.4 billion in 2009.
