"From then until now, people have mostly studied relative atomic motions or the electronic transitions governed by these motions," says Leone, a member of Berkeley Lab's Chemical Sciences Division, a professor of chemistry and physics at UC Berkeley, and Director of the Chemical Dynamics Beamline at the Advanced Light Source.
