Nissha Printing and C3nano Successfully Develop Next Generation Silver Nanowire Transparent Inks

C3nano Inc., the performance leader in transparent conductive films (TCFs) and inks for the touch sensor and display industry, announced today that Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. and C3nano have succeeded in the joint development of next generation silver nanowire (AgNW) transparent inks powered by C3nano’s Activegrid technology. The deal will meet fast-evolving consumer demand for smarter, flexible phones, tablets and large panel displays.

New Way to Control Heat Propagation in Photonic Nano-Sized Devices

Scientists from the MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology at the University of Twente in the Netherlands and Thales Research & Technology, France, have found a way to control heat propagation in photonic nano-sized devices, which will be used for high speed communications and quantum information technologies. Their results are published in the leading American journal Applied Physics Letters on 30 April 2015.

Cellulose Nanofibres Not Harmful Says Study

Plant-based cellulose nanofibres do not pose a short-term health risk, especially short fibres, shows a study conducted in the context of National Research Programme "Opportunities and Risks of Nanomaterials" (NRP 64). But lung cells are less efficient in eliminating longer fibres.
