C2C12 Stem Cell Migration on Glass Surface

This video from Bruker Nano surfaces shows the phase data of lamellopodia expanding via Actin Cytoskeleton polymerization in the direction of motion. The resulting tension of the cell membrane is then relieved by sliding along.

The images were observed by Dimension FastScan AFM (atomic force microscopy) and FastScan-Bio Cantilevers at 1 hour.
