The DynaPro™ ZetaStar: High-Performance Characterization for Nanoparticles and Macromolecules

The DynaPro ZetaStar provides precise characterization of nanoparticle suspensions and macromolecular solutions.

Multi-Measurement Capabilities in One Instrument

The DynaPro ZetaStar integrates dynamic, electrophoretic, and static light scattering techniques to characterize nanoparticle suspensions and macromolecular solutions effectively. It is both user-friendly and a highly effective instrument that provides measurements of size and polydispersity, zeta potential, particle concentration, molar mass, and turbidity/opalescence for molecules varying in size from angstroms to microns.

This device allows for the analysis and quantification of viral vectors, vesicles, lipid nanoparticles, inorganic nanoparticles, nanoemulsions, polymers, peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, and more.

Automated nanoparticle characterization

The DynaPro™ ZetaStar Instrument stands apart from other light scattering devices with its unique ability to fully automate size and zeta potential measurements. When paired to an HPLC autosampler, achieve precise, unattended analysis on up to 96 samples in a single run - saving time and reducing variability.

Walk-Up Operation With DYNAMICS Touch

Created for casual and non-expert users, DYNAMICS Touch is an intuitive but powerful multi-measurement application that is integrated directly into the ZetaStar. Using the touch screen interface, DYNAMICS Touch enables the setup of measurements and the collection of data. Data quality indicators instill confidence in the outcomes and provide insights to enhance future measurements.

Results are immediately shown on the ZetaStar, and data files along with concise PDF reports can be saved on the device, transmitted over the network, or downloaded to a flash drive. Additionally, users can send the report to their mobile phone.

Key Features:

  • DYNAMICS Touch on-board app for walk-up, self-guided operation
  • Pairable with a Waters HPLC and Pump to automate measurements of zeta potential and size
  • Flow Mode for best-in-class zeta potential reproducibility and precision for samples in high salt buffers or prone to degradation
  • Adaptive collection for faster and simpler measurements of zeta potential
  • Measure size and turbidity with just 2 µL of solution, or zeta potential with as little as 65 µL of solution
  • A selection of high-quality quartz and disposable cells and cuvettes for both size and zeta potential measurements.
