NIST Researchers Capture Nanoscale Spectra of Plasmonic Nanostructures Using AFM-IR

Anasys Instruments reports on the new AFM-IR results from the Energy Research Group at NIST just published in the journal for Advanced Optical Materials. The paper is entitled “Nanoscale imaging and spectroscopy of plasmonic modes with the PTIR technique.”

At CEATEC JAPAN 2014, Nissan Chemical Industries (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Kojiro Kinoshita) will display products being developed for touch panels for smart phones and tablet PCs, using a functional coating material named “HYPERTECH” that contains multi-branched organic nanoparticles (a “hyper-branched polymer”) that they independently developed.

Senior Scientific LLC, a subsidiary of Manhattan Scientifics, Inc., is currently collaborating with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) to advance, demonstrate and validate a cancer detection and measurement technology originally developed by Edward R. Flynn, PhD. John D. Hazle, PhD of the MD Anderson Cancer Center recently presented initial results from the collaboration in a poster at the World Molecular Imaging Conference in Seoul, South Korea.
