SEA Provides Sol Voltaics $6M Loan for Commercial Development of Solink Nanomaterial

Sol Voltaics today announced that the Swedish Energy Agency (SEA), Sweden’s national authority for energy policy issues, has provided the company a $6 million conditional loan to further the commercial development of SolinkTM, an economical nanomaterial that promises to increase the efficiency of solar modules by up to 25% percent.

HZDR Scientists Unveil Formation Mechanism of Nanocrystalline Cerium Dioxide

A formation mechanism of nanocrystalline cerium dioxide (CeO2), a versatile nanomaterial, has been unveiled by scientists from the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) and the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. The research results were published in the scientific journal Chemistry – A European Journal (DOI: 10.1002/chem.201204101). This finding potentially simplifies and alleviates the existing synthetic processes of nanocrystalline CeO2 production.
