Nanoscale Motion Control Technique Allows Measurement of Binding Between Antigen and Single TCR

T-cells are the body's sentinels, patrolling every corner of the body in search of foreign threats such as bacteria and viruses. Receptor molecules on the T-cells identify invaders by recognizing their specific antigens, helping the T-cells discriminate attackers from the body's own cells. When they recognize a threat, the T-cells signal other parts of the immune system to confront the invader.

Vishay Extends Power Rating of PTN Series Precision Surface-Mount Thin Film Chip Resistors

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. today announced that it has extended the power rating of PTN series precision surface-mount thin film chip resistors in the 2512 case size to 2 W. Built using a self-passivated, moisture-resistant tantalum nitride resistive film technology, the Vishay Dale Thin Film devices combine their high power rating with a low absolute TCR of +/- 25 ppm/°C and laser-trimmed tolerances down to +/- 0.1 % over a wide temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C.
