In this video, PI showcases six-axes hexapod robots for applications in research and industry like motion simulation or automated positioning tasks. The hexapod product line has various models with loads ranging from 1 kg to 1000 kg, and accuracy down to 10 nm. In the automotive sector, PI covers machine building, machine tool, and machine interfaces. Hexapod robots are also available for engineered systems, fiber optics, and motion simulation. The parallel, kinematic hexapods are CIPA certified with six degrees of freedom, and are definable in space. Custom designs and motion control software are also available.
