PI Presents Advanced P-616 NanoCube®

This video shows the new, advanced P-616 NanoCube® from Physik Instrumente (PI). It is a highly compact piezo system that offers identical dynamics, velocity, and precision on all three motion axes with loads of up to 50 g. Its optimized design delivers 10% savings in space than others. It has exchangeable attachments and sensor technology. This makes it ideal, for example, for use in microscopy, fiber alignment, or in precision manufacturing.

Features include innovative product design for flexible use as a result of single mounting platform; parallel-kinematic design for maximum stiffness in all spatial directions; very dynamic motion because of high resonant frequencies even with loads up to 100 g; the smallest and lightest NanoCube® with 100 µm travel range on the market; and the only nanopositioner available on the market with ID chip functionality.
