PI Offers Precision Motion Products for Imaging and Microscopy

This video shows the various precision motion products solutions offered by Physik instrumente (PI) for microscopy and imaging applications. Super-resolution microscopy and imaging requires extremely fast, stable, and accurate positioning equipment, for example, lens positioners and scanners, microscopy stages, fast nano-focus devices based on piezo, voice-coil, and linear motor technology.

Equipped with fast piezo nano focus, the precision motion products can be easily integrated into any microscope and can travel up to 2 mm. The range of high-resolution, high-stability motors is extremely stable as they are self locking. Thanks to their low profile, the products can be effortlessly integrated and also feature a remarkable speed range. The cost-efficient, low-profile PInano® Microscope scanner has a subnanometer precision and is equipped with controllers. PI also offers miniature stages, which are  cost-effective, extremely compact, and have nanometer resolution. The 6-Axis Hexapod has a randomized center of rotation.

These solutions hold application in various fields of research and industry, such as, bio-technology, neuroscience, materials science, semiconductor technology and nano-technology.
