Path Transducer

Functions as actuator and sensor component. Depending on the active layer height, the nominal operating voltage ranges from 100 to 1000 V. Up to milliwatts of power can be generated for self-sufficient systems. It can also be used on curved surfaces.

Robust, Inexpensive Design

A piezoceramic plate, electrodes, and polymer materials are laminated together to form this structure. It is made using a bubble-free injection process. The polymer layer acts as electrical insulation and mechanical preload, allowing the DuraAct to bend.
